I agree with you. He’s a sprinter and he’s not build for running the steeple. I’m not even going to put a time, he would never do one.
he does have the hip height to clear the barriers though. As a former steepler and coach, i’d say he could probably break 10:00 easily being a sprinter. You didnt say what your best was so I cant compare. Mine was a 9:42 but I never could hurdle very well.

maybe he would do the first 3 laps pretty fast but the last 4.5 would kill him and he would have to step most of the rest of the barriers.
I’ll go with 15 minutes because I’ve seen some damn good sprinters and hurdlers race the 1500.. and it was a joke
